Sustainable power from gyms???

I came across this a while ago - http://www.nonsensical.com/work/portfolio/power.html

It does seem like a silly, nonsensical idea on the face of it, but it's an interesting idea to think about. Would it generate enough energy to be worthwhile? If it produced enough to power a building, say, it's not going to single-handedly climate change, but at the same time it can't hurt, if it's cost-effective.

Drupal email notification

I'll be working to install the email notification module soon. There will (no doubt) be configuration options. Making it behave like LiveJournal is probably a lot of work (not just in that module, but elsewhere). Still, we should capture that as a nice to have :-)

This requires the Path module.

But it requires more than that. We will need to figure out what policy we want for our aliasing, and how to accomplish it.

Good news is, we can create forums aligned with our main wiki categories, and can create paths that map to the category names. Woohoo! At least, I think so...

Anyway, point is, (again, with Drupal) what do we want?

Suggested features and changes to the forums

List your suggestions in the comments.

Mine are:

Reverse the order that comments are listed, with new comments at the bottom. Seems far more intuitive to me.

* Add more wiki markup style editing, when it's possible. I don't think there's any way to do bold or italics now. An edit box like in MediaWiki would be great - don't know if it's possible though.

What blocks do we want where? What should be in them?

Drupal offers a ton of flexibility. Just check out a few drupal based sites and it's obvious.
